What to do if my sewer is backing up?

How do I dispose of a mattress and box spring?

Both pieces need to be wrapped and sealed in a clear plastic or vinyl covering. Must be completely sealed. Once both pieces are wrapped and sealed, put one (1) mattress and one (1) box spring out with the regular trash.

Can I put a TV out for trash?

Yes, you are allowed to have out one (1) TV each trash day.

What size trash can is allowed?

32 gallons and under with no attached lid.

When does trash/recycling need to be out by?

Trash and recycling need to be at the trash line before 7am on the day of your collection.

How many containers of trash are allowed out?

Up to five (5) containers under forty (40) pounds each. 

What is not acceptable in recycling?

NO PLASTIC BAGS OF ANY KIND, Styrofoam, pizza boxes, and anything with food residue.

Parks Maintenance
Can residents take the compost and/or wood chips from Naylor's Run?

Yes.

Kids are constantly hanging out and drinking in the parks. Can you do anything about this?

This is a Police issue.

Why can't the grass be cut every week?

It is cut on a revolving two week schedule. 

Who is responsible for the tree between the curb and sidewalk?

The homeowner is responsible for the pruning and upkeep of these trees. However, if the branches are blocking any signs belonging to the township the township will trim them back.

What about if my neighbors tree overhangs onto my property?

The owner of the tree is responsible. Not the Township.

The township cut my tree but left it on my property, what do I do?

The township will take some, but the rest is the residents responsibility.
