Upper Darby Township has three Electrical Vehicle charging stations accommodating up to 6

vehicles in Municipal Lot 1, across the street from the Municipal building on Garrett Road.

These level 2 charging stations may be accessed via the ChargePoint mobile phone app.

Fee Structure:

- The fee for charging at an Upper Darby Municipal Charging Station is $3.50 per

   hour.   (Upper Darby Township Resolution No. 26-23)   

- This fee covers the cost of parking and the cost of charging.

- This fee is imposed for the entire time a vehicle remains plugged in at the charging

  station with no maximum. 

Please unplug your car from the station upon completion of charging and move it to a regular parking space if you desire to stay longer in the lot.  Pay the parking kiosk for the additional time desired.

Cars that remain in a designated charging space while not attached to the charging station are subject to fine.
