To request one of the above locations, please visit our reservation site, CivicPlus Rec (linked below in yellow), and follow these steps:
1. Current Account Holders, sign in and skip to step #6. Non-Account Holders will need to create an account by clicking on the "Sign In" button and then selecting "Sign Up"
2. Enter your email address, name and create a password. Click "Create Account"
3. You will need to verify your email address by entering the One Time Password (OTP) that was emailed to that email address. Please note that the OTP expires in 6 minutes.
4. To continue creating an account, enter the requested information for the account holder (account holder must be an adult) and click "Save"
5. Family members can be added to the account by clicking "+ Add New Account Member" from your Dashboard.
6. To request a field or park permit, navigate to the Catalog. On a Desktop: click the "Catalog" button. On a Mobile Device: click the hamburger menu and select "Catalog"
7. Choose the "Facility and Park Rentals" tab (olive green tab)
8. Select the location you are interested in and follow the prompts to submit your request.
Please be aware of the following details:
- Minimum rental time is 4 hours
- Maximum rental time is 8 hours
- Dates will open for requests ninety (90) days prior
- For example: Requests for June 20th will not open until March 22nd
- Dates will close for requests seven (7) days prior
- For example: Requests for June 20th must be submitted prior to June 13th
Upper Darby Recreation launched the CivicPlus Rec Reservation software on April 1, 2026. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the transition. While we are excited about the new system, there may be occasional bugs or minor issues as we work through the rollout. Thank you for your support as we make improvements and ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

Park Permit Fees

Payment/Refunds:
Payment will be due once Upper Darby Township Recreation has approved your request. An invoice with payment instructions will be emailed to you. No permit for use of areas will be issued until payment is received in full. Please note that Upper Darby Township does not accept cash payments.
Refunds will only be issued if written notice of cancellation is received by the Recreation Office no less than five (5) days prior to the event. Rain dates will be offered according to availability.
Athletic Field Fees
Single use rate: Groups of twenty-five (25) or more individuals must obtain a permit for the use of Township Ball Fields.
- Adult Rate: $100
- Youth Rate: $50
Seasonal rate:
- Adult use fee for a thirteen (13) week season: $175.00
- Youth seasonal fee for unlimited game/practice time at $300.00. Youth seasonal fees can be adjusted based on field improvements and maintenance logs provided by the organization's board of directors to the Recreation Office. This adjusted fee will be at the discretion of the Mayor.
A seventy-five-dollar ($75) security deposit is required for organizations requesting use of snack stands during their seasonal rental. Security deposit will be returned to the organization upon inspection completed by Recreation staff, and snack stand found to be in satisfactory conditions for future permit holders.
Payments:
