What We Do
The mission of the Upper Darby Tax Office is the timely, courteous, and prompt collections of all revenue due to Upper Darby Township. This includes the billing and collections of real estate taxes, sewer charges, and trash fees. The Tax Office also administers the Township's application process for business licenses, mercantile licenses, and local service tax.

When are the Real Estate tax, Sewer Fees, and Trash Fees due?
-Real estate tax (aka municipal property taxes) has a 2% discount through March 31st and are due at face value by May 31st. A 10% penalty for late payment is applied on June 1st.
-Sewer and Trash fees are due on May 31st. There is a 10% penalty for payment after May 31st.
-Final Date for all is December 31, 2025.
How do I get a receipt for my tax payment?
-Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope when you mail your taxes or fees to the Tax Office.
Can I pay my School District or County Taxes at the Upper Darby Tax Office?
-No. The Upper Darby Tax Office only collects municipal taxes and fees.
