Upper Darby Township Trash & Recycling Pickup Update

For the week of February 23-27, 2026

Dear Upper Darby Property Owners and Residents,

The Township received approximately 12-inches of snow from Sunday into Monday’s blizzard. All personnel will be focusing on after snow cleanup and managing trash removal. Recycling will be suspended this week. Please hold your recycling collection until next week. For Trash collection, a 4-day week schedule (Holiday schedule) will be in effect.

Monday, Feb 23: Trash and Recycling Suspended

Tuesday, Feb 24: Regular Tuesday Trash Area 2, Recycling Suspended

Wednesday, Feb 25: Monday Trash Area 4& 6, Recycling Suspended

Thursday, Feb 26: Regular Thursday Trash Area 3 & 5, Recycling Suspended

Friday, Feb 27: Regular Friday Trash Area 1, Recycling Suspended

*Monday’s (February 23, 2026) missed trash pickup will be collected on Wednesday, February 25th

We ask all property owners and residents to ensure that alleyways are properly cleared out to provide safe and unobstructed access - not only for sanitation trucks and workers, but also for Police vehicles and Fire trucks, should an emergency arise.
