Upper Darby Township Officials in Attendance for 9/11 Remembrance at Rose Tree Park

Delaware County hosted its annual September 11th Day of Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA. The commemoration was hosted by the County Council and District Attorney's Office, the event was open to the public. The solemn event at the 9/11 Memorial site in the rear of the park dedicated to law enforcement, fire, EMS and 911 personnel who sacrificed their lives in service. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost on that day. Delaware County's brave First Responders who died in the line of duty that day as well as those who protect and serve every day were also honored. 

Pennsylvania State Representative, Gina Curry was on hand as well as Upper Darby Township, Chief Administrative Officer, Crandall Jones and Upper Darby Command Staff of Police and Fire.
