2nd Annual Back to School Fair

The Delaware County Health Department is excited to announce our 2^nd Annual Back to School Fair, an event which supports local students and their families with resources needed for a successful 2025-26 school year!

The DCHD Back to School Fair will be held on Saturday, August 16^th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Delaware County Wellness Center, 125 Chester Ave., Yeadon PA 19050.

This event will include many vendor information tables and distribution of free backpacks with school supplies and vaccinations for school  (pre-registration is required for both). There will be free vision & dental screenings, haircuts, and lots of fun activities for the family! Also, the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson will be on-site with an inflatable lung display to educate and provide resources about lung health (see above image).

We are also encouraging community members to participate in the DCHD Delivers Back to School Fair Donation Drive, which will help families in need of assistance with school supply expenses. There are various drop off locations including the Delaware County Government Center, several Franklin Mint Credit Union locations, area YMCAs, and many of our Delaware County libraries (see attached flyer with QR code for complete list).
