The Upper Darby Senior Center has received a grant of $6,173.00. This is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging investment of $3 Million in 436 senior communities across the Commonwealth.
The Upper Darby Senior Center will be using this grant to create a crafting class in The Studio. Residents will have access to materials, sewing machines, and instruction on hand crafts such as knitting, crochet, and needlepoint. The Senior Center is excited to use this grant to create another space for our seniors to show their creativity and improve mental well-being through the arts.
