Upper Darby Road Resurfacing

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has awarded a $5,444,444 contract to Allan Myers of Worcester, Montgomery County, to repair and resurface eight state roadways in Delaware County. Under this improvement project, PennDOT will resurface more than 17 miles of state highways in Delaware County using bituminous material. The new pavements will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface. 

Upper Darby Roads to be Resurfaced: 

  1. Burmont Road 

Location: Lansdowne Borough, Upper Darby & Haverford Townships 

  1. Marshall Road 

Location: Lansdowne Borough & Upper Darby Township 

 

Construction on this project will begin this summer and is expected to finish in summer 2026. This project is financed with 100 percent state funds.
