Upper Darby Mayor Edward Brown shared his enthusiasm:
“I am thrilled to let the people of Upper Darby know about the amazing opportunities for our youth happening this summer with the TGR Learning Lab and their Summer Program Catalog,” said Mayor Brown.
“To have such unique and diverse courses being offered for students from second grade to senior year in high school for free in our own backyard is unprecedented.
Not only can our children and younger folks get critical instruction in STEAM and other academic courses, but they can also learn about the financial aid process, creating a resume, college visits, 3D design, digital creation, writing code—the options are endless. They will develop teamwork skills in small group settings. Our high school students can learn life skills to prepare them for the real world.
The TGR Learning Lab is truly a game-changer for our youth in Upper Darby.”
State Senator Tim Kearney added:
“I’m thrilled to see a program like the TGR Learning Lab creating hands-on STEAM opportunities for young people right here in my district,” said Senator Kearney. “This kind of access empowers our future leaders to dream bigger and build skills they will need to succeed.”
