Llanerch Hills Opening day 

 Play ball!  

Llanerch Hills Cal Ripken Baseball held its Opening Day on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Dermond Field in Drexel Hill.   

Upper Darby Mayor Ed Brown showed off his arm as he threw out the first pitch along with Councilperson Melissa DiNofia-Bozzone.  

Councilpersons Kyle McIntyre and Brian O’Neill were also on hand, as well as the Upper Darby Fire Department and Police Department.   

A great day was had by all. None of the festivities on Saturday would be possible without the parents, coaches, volunteers, and league officials who give so much of their time and effort to make the league what it is.
