On Friday, January 9, Delco’s America250 held it’s “We the People” kick-off party to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial (250th Birthday). 

Upper Darby Township Director of Community & Economic Development, Rita LaRue was on hand at the event which took place at The Valley Forge Military Academy & College, Mellon Hall in Wayne, Pa.  

The night offered an unveiling of a special sampler of the 2026 events and programs for the upcoming year-long celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
