Business Community Council Town Hall Meeting
Upper Darby 6th District Council Person, David Bantoe hosted a Business Community Council Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, October 29th at the Upper Darby Senior Center.
The gathering was a great opportunity for residents to ask questions, voice concerns, learn about new developments in Upper Darby, and get a chance to interact face-to-face with Township Administrators.
On hand from the Township were CAO, Crandall Jones, Director of Community and Economic Development, Rita LaRue, Director of Licenses and Inspections, Amrinder Singh, Director of Public Works, Joe Martin. As well as Upper Darby Police Superintendent, Tim Bernhardt and Deputy Chief Firefighter, Dennis Gallagher.
Township officials presented slideshows and lent insight into what was happening in their departments and answered any questions presented by those in attendance.
There was a heavy emphasis on new business, communication between officials and residents, and safety.
