ESO, our Records Management System, is used to enhance fire department operations, collect data, and provide service to our community. The ability of our command staff to explain our department’s value is essential to protecting and enhancing resources for our emergency responses, training, and fire prevention activities. Today’s fire service has become increasingly data-informed, making it necessary to ensure access to accurate data. Accurate data is essential for precise decision-making, preparedness, prevention, operational insights, and firefighter safety. Using data, we can proactively improve operations, community outreach, and job performance. There is no easier way to communicate the current state of our department than with accurate statistics.
