Parking is available in front of the Senior Center on Watkins Ave or in the rear parking lot accessible from Montgomery Avenue.

Public Transportation - SEPTA

Watkins is easily accessible through Bus 42 and Bus 113. Senior Citizes, age 65 and older, may ride FREE at all times on all Transit Routes provided they have a valid SENIOR FARE CARD. SEPTA Senior Fare Cards may be obtained at SEPTA Headquarters or at Participating Legislative Offices. Contact your PA State Senator Kearney's Office for assistance at 610-352-3409.

Bus 42 - Watkins is just a 2 minute walk from the Bus 42 stops on Marshall Road. From the Marshall Road and Kent Road Stop OR the Marshall Road and Harrison Ave. stop, walk down Harrison Ave to Watkins Ave. Turn right on Watkins Ave and the Senior Center will be on your left.

Bus 113 - Watkins is just a 3 minute walk from the Bus 113 stops on South 69th Street. From the 69th St. Blvd & Patterson Ave stop, walk down the driveway adjacent to the 69th Street Recreation Area Athletic Fields to the rear of the driveway. Walk up the steps to the Senior Center which is the stucco building at the top of the steps.

Community Transit of Delaware County

Community Transit is a private, nonprofit transportation company certified by the PA PUC to provide demand responsive service to the general public. Persons age 65 and older pay 15% of the actual fare. Trip requests are accepted up to two weeks in advance. Contact Community Transit at 610-460-3977 for an application.
