WHEREAS, A&E Construction Co., headquartered in Upper Darby, PA, opened its premier construction firm in 1978 by Bud Santora who started his business from scratch with only four employees;
WHEREAS, Bud Santora believed in the values of unyielding dedication and providing premium service and quality to clients of A&E thereby resulting in a flourishing business with over 70 dedicated employees;
WHEREAS, Bud Santora’s principles have been passed down to his sons, Tony and Bill Santora, enabling the company to continue to thrive and exceed their expectations in the marketplace;
WHEREAS, in its 40 years of business, A&E Construction has served the Mid-Atlantic region with hundreds of award -winning projects throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and New York, allowing the firm designate a rank in “Top 25 Contractors in the Philadelphia Area” by the Philadelphia Business Journal; and
WHEREAS, A&E’s Construction Co.’s philosophy of commitment, dedication and providing a top quality team approach has proven to be successful and award- winning; these are the values A&E Construction Co. continues to instill in their employees which allows forging new relationships with clients and subcontractors; and
NOW, THEREFORE I, Thomas N. Micozzie, Mayor of Upper Darby Township, along with my fellow members of Upper Darby Council, do hereby proclaim April 26, 2018 as
in Upper Darby Township and urge my fellow citizens to recognize and participate in its observance.
