Upper Darby Township’s Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Action Plan is a community-driven initiative to eliminate roadway deaths and serious injuries. Funded through a federal SS4A Planning Grant, this project builds on Delaware County’s Vision Zero efforts and aims to make Upper Darby’s streets safer and more accessible for everyone, whether you walk, bike, drive, or ride transit.
The Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program is a U.S. Department of Transportation initiative that supports local and regional efforts to improve roadway safety. SS4A grants fund planning and implementation projects that use a Safe System Approach to prevent traffic fatalities and serious injuries.
