Just a friendly reminder from Upper Darby Township that we have a Council Meeting tonight at 7pm, 3-18-26, in our Municipal Building 2nd floor Council Chambers 100 Garrett Road; Upper Darby, PA 19082. Those wishing to participate in Public Forum should sign in between 6:30pm and 6:55pm. One of the agenda items will be Authorizing the Submission of a Grant Application to the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's Regional Trail Program to authorize engineering and design of the Upper Darby Township's Darby Creek Trail Pilgrim Park segment to connect with Haverford Township's Darby Creek Trail.

Upper Darby Township utilizes the Delco Alert System to provide important updates to residents. A Delco Alert is an emergency notification system that cautions Delaware County residents regarding impactful events. If you register, the system can send notifications about things like: Trash & Recycling Collection updates, Severe weather or storms, AMBER alerts, Road closures or major traffic issues, Local emergencies or public safety situations

You can also opt in for: Township updates from Upper Darby Township, County information from Delaware County, Transit alerts from SEPTA

Bottom line: This is a legitimate community emergency alert system, and signing up can help you get fast warnings during emergencies.
