Upper Darby Township Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Action Plan

https://upper-darby-safe-streets-for-all-baker.hub.arcgis.com/

Upper Darby Township is continuing its work on the Safe Streets for All Action Plan to reduce serious crashes and injuries and improve safety for people walking, biking, driving, and taking transit.

How did we get here?

Late last year, the Township gathered community input on safety issues through a survey and feedback session, and reviewed PennDOT crash data to identify its “high injury network.” The high-injury networks are roads where most serious and fatal crashes occur. Using this data and community feedback, the Township selected several key corridors and areas to develop safety improvement concept plans where changes can most effectively reduce serious crashes. The Township is developing concept plans to illustrate safety improvements that can be made to key areas along the high-injury network. The Township will be integrating the final concept plans, along with system-wide safety improvement recommendations and policy and process recommendations, into the Safe Streets for All Action Plan.

How You Can Get Involved

We are inviting all community members to share their experiences and priorities through several upcoming engagement opportunities:
