Code Blue Alert

Delaware County has issued a Code Blue notification for excessive cold temperatures Friday, December 5 through Wednesday, December 10, 2025. 

The Watkins Center, located at 326 Watkins Ave, Upper Darby, PA, will be open extended hours until 6pm, Friday, December 5, 2025, to accommodate those in need.  

Health notifications such as Code Blue are guided by temperature conditions. Residents are advised to dress in layers, limit time outdoors, seek heated indoor spaces, and check in on their neighbors.   

For general support — food, housing, utilities, medical — people can call 24/7 via the statewide hotline PA 211 by dialing 211.
