Mayor Barbarann Keffer is pleased to present the Upper Darby International Festival on Saturday, October 2, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Five Points Intersection at 100 Garrett Road in Upper Darby.

Free and fun for all ages, the festival will celebrate the diversity of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania’s sixth-largest municipality, with a great line-up of performances, food, vendors, and a Kids Fun Zone. The featured event is the Parade of Flags, a celebration of the many home countries of our residents, with flags carried by local school children.

The main stage performances include Jolly Das, the Pakistani American Community Organization, Cheng’s Martial Arts, and Jimmy Jorge and the Latin Express. There will be a special appearance by the West Powelton Drummers at 2:30 pm, immediately followed by the Parade of Flags.

Mayor Keffer is looking forward to this special event: “We are grateful for the opportunity to bring our entire community together and celebrate Upper Darby for who and what we represent: the world in one place.”
