As this winter finally comes to a close, I wish to thank the entire Upper Darby Township staff for an extraordinary effort in dealing with the twenty storms and call outs. After the winter we've had, a good spring cleaning is in order. Therefore, I have declared April as "Community Clean-Up Month."

Going into spring and summer there are many exciting events and community sponsored programs of which to take advantage. Our recreation and summer programs offer resident discounts on such events as amusement park and movie tickets along with community sponsored events for all ages.

This year's Fourth of July program will feature local group "Chico's Vibe" for entertainment prior to the fireworks display.

Great things are happening in Upper Darby and we are on the move. Looking forward to seeing you at the many events listed and hope you enjoy your summer!
