UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP

The Upper Darby Township Committee Meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Due to current CDC recommendations, Council members will be participating remotely and the meeting will be streamed to the public via You Tube live: https://www.youtube.com/upperdarbytwp. For those on Facebook, you can watch it from the Upper Darby Township Council page.

Mayor Barbarann Keffer will also give her 2021 Budget Address at the meeting.

Notice is hereby given that there will be a Council Meeting held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Please follow the CDC recommendations stated above to view the meeting.

On October 14, 2020, Township Council will hold a Public Hearing to consider, and may vote upon at the public meeting:

LANDOWNER SUBSTANTIVE CHALLENGE TO UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP ZONING MAP UNDER SECTION UNDER Section 909.1 and 916.1 OF THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPALITIES PLANNING CODE

The proposed curative amendment, if accepted, would amend the Upper Darby Zoning Map, the Corridor Residential Office Overlay District to include the property located at 359 Owen Avenue. A copy of the landowner’s submission is available for inspection online: www.upperdarby.org, and the Delaware County Law Library all during regular business hours.

Residents can call in comments for the October 7, 2020 Committee Meeting to 484-393-5861 OR email their comments to comments@upperdarby.org from Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 12pm until October 7, 2020 at 7pm with their name & address, and they will be read into the record during the Public Comment section of the Meeting for up to 30 minutes.
