UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP
SPECIAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting will be held by Township Council on Wednesday,
January 24 , 2024, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of introducing, and if appropriate, advertising an
ordinance, the title and summary of which appears below:

ORDINANCE NO. 3151

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER DARBY, COUNTY OF
DELAWARE, AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE
TAX RATE FOR THE YEAR 2024 AND APPROPRIATING SPECIFIC SUMS
ESTIMATED TO BE REQUIRED FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE

MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT

By Ordinance No. 3149, Upper Darby Township Council intended to levy a total tax on all
property and occupations within the Township at a rate of 14.02 Mills on each thousand dollars
of assessed valuation, or the sum of .01402 cents on each hundred dollars of assessed valuation
of real property. Due to a typographical error, the total millage rate was written as 14.21 Mills
on each thousand dollars of assessed valuation. This Ordinance will correct the typographical
error.

The special meeting will take place in the Township Meeting Room #202 of the Municipal
Building, 100 Garrett Road, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and will be streamed to the public via:
