The definition of a "first time homebuyer" is defined as any household that meets the income guidelines as determined by the Federal Government and a "first time homebuyer" that has not owned a home within the past three (3) years. The same income guidelines that apply to the Home Improvement Code Compliance Program are used for the First Time Homebuyers Program. The total purchase price of the home may not exceed $180,000. The sole purpose of the property must be for owner-occupied homeownership and property must be located in Upper Darby Township.
