Upper Darby Recreation participates in the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society Discount Ticket Sales Program. Substantial savings are available by purchasing tickets to area attractions at our office. Save time and money. No long lines. Tickets purchased are valid for the 2008 season only. Tickets sold from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and select Fridays till 7:00 PM at

Summer Playground
Program
The Summer Playground Program is a six week recreation playground experience. Leaders on Township and School District playgrounds supervise arts and crafts, sports, games, field trips an special events. In most cases, this is an outside, fair-weather program which is not held on rainy days. Registration is held directly on-site beginning June 25. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
Registration Fee: $5.00 per person

Tot Lots
Geared to ages 3 to 6 and operate in the morning only, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. There will be fourteen (14) tot-lot locations for 2008. Aronimink, Bywood, Garrettford, Clark, Dermond, Huey, McKinley, Observatory, Penn Pines, Scullion, Second Ward, 69th Street, Westview, and Windermere.
Youth
Lots
Geared to ages 6 to 14. Youth Lots run from
9a.m. to Noon and 1p.m. to 3 p.m. (Closed 12 - 1 PM). The nine (9) youth lot locations will be:
Aronimink, Bywood,
Garretford, Hillcrest,
Stonehurst, Westbrook Park, Dermond, Sellers, 69th Street.
Sports programs will be a large part of the summer activities
Geared to ages 8 to 18, meets Monday thru Friday for one hour. This is a beginner program held June 18 until July 13 at Upper Darby High School. The program is a series of 19 lessons for $75.00, with a visor included.Boys Football Camp - Ages 8 - 15

Mini-Hawk Camp
Boys and Girls - Ages 4 - 6
Primos Elementary School - June 16 thru June 20. 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. An introductory program for young children, Mini-Hawk helps children explore, soccer, baseball and basketball in a non-pressure setting. Lots of fun while participating in all three sports through unique Skyhawk games. - Camp fee is $75.00 -

S.N.A.G. Golf
Boys and Girls Ages 6 - 12
Naylor's Run Park - July 28 thru August 1. 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Skyhawks Golf builds the confidence of new players while teaching proper techniques and etiquette. Uses the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system and equipment to maintain safety and encourage beginners. - Camp fee is $75.00 -

Drexel Hill Middle School - July 7 thru July 11. 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Young athletes learn fundamental skills of soccer through fun games and exercise. Interactive group activities, games and scrimmages. - Camp fee is $75.00 -

Upper Darby High School - Monday thru Friday, July 14 thru July 25. 2:30 PM to 6:00 Pm. Our innovative program for boys and girls who want to have fun learning to be healthy! The purpose of this camp is to promote a healthy lifestyle through fun, food and fitness! Included are health related field trips, water games, food preparation and even crafts. Water Bottle and Camp T-shirt included! - Class fee $125 -
Boys and Girls Naylor's Run Nature Camp - Ages 8 - 18
Naylor's Run Park - July 7 thru July 18. 9 AM to 1 PM. Field studies in the following areas: birds Wildflowers, Insects, Stream Ecology , Geology, Forest Ecology, Tree Identification.Camp hat is included!. - Camp Fee is $75.00 -
Instrumental Music, Voice and Piano Lesson - Ages 3 - 12 *Acoustic Guitar Lessons Available!

Camp Friendship - Ages 5 - 21
Upper Darby High School - June 16 thru July 25. Designed for special needs children who are currently enrolled in special education. Recreational activities, arts and crafts, swimming, theater workshop, academic remediation, cooking and computers. Registration fee is $250.00. REGISTRATION FORM, FEE AND MEDICAL INFORMATION DUE BY MAY 23.
Boys and Girls Art Workshop - Grades 3 thru 18
Drexel Hill Middle School Art Room - June 16 thru July 11 No class July 4. One hour class daily. The Art Workshop is an enrichment program offering instruction in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics and other media. - Class fee is $75.00 -
KAMP KOALA
The extended Day Program at the Kindergarten Center will be offering a summer camp this year for children currently attending kindergarten, and those registered for the upcoming school year.
Activities include arts and crafts, music, outdoor play and special events.
