At present the residents relying on the Police Department number approximately eighty-two thousand and represent a diverse population. The Police Department has made a great effort to provide the most modern and effective service to the community that it serves. Innovative measures have been taken and immense successes followed. The Department continually reviews its performance and makes changes when a better way is found to do something. Traditional and the most modern policing occurs in the Township. The goal of the Department is to provide the best possible police service to the residential and business community that it is proud to serve.
