_ COUNCIL COMMITTEES Members of the Township Council serve on standing Committees of Council, according to interest, expertise or background and work together to form special task teams. The chairperson for each committee is appointed by the Council President or presiding officer. Currently there are seven standing committees with three to five members sitting on each. All standing Committees of Council must report to the Council at the regularly scheduled Meetings of Council.
