_ ADMINISTRATIVE CODE ARTICLE V: (Sections 5.13-5.15) Department of Leisure Services Section 5.13 - Function The Department of Leisure Services shall be responsible for operating the parks and playgrounds of the Township and developing, conducting, and supervising recreation programs and Township library services. Section 5.14 - Department Head The Department of Leisure Services shall be headed by a Director who shall be responsible to the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer for the performance of the function of the department. Section 5.15 - Duties The duties of the Director shall be to: A. Plan, develop, design, and administer, in cooperation with other appropriate municipal departments, municipal park and recreation facilities owned,acquired or designated by the Township; B. Organize, equip, and conduct recreation programs for all citizens of the Township; C. Control the planning and maintenance of trees and other vegetation along municipal rights-of-way and other property of the Township; and D. Plan, develop, and administer in consonance with agreements of the Library Board in providing Township Library Services.
