UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP PRESCRIPTION DRUG TURN-OVER AND COMMUNITY SHRED DAY
Upper Darby Township is proud to announce a Prescription Drug Turn-Over and Community Shred Day on Saturday September 25, 2010 from 10 am to 2 pm at Upper Darby High School (Parking Lot).
State and local law enforcement agencies will provide an opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused prescription controlled substances and other medications (pills and capsules only) to law enforcement officers for destruction.
A large shredding truck will be located at the Upper Darby High School parking lot, and residents are encouraged to bring their Paper Items Only to be shredded. In addition to the shredding, the Township will be collecting plastic bags.
This event is for Upper Darby Township Residents Only. Items of a commercial nature will not be accepted for shredding.
