Biography
I was born in Philadelphia and moved to Delaware County as a teen. I made Upper Darby's Stonehurst section my home when I began my family.
I have always been active in the community, leading volunteer efforts to provide stuffed animals to children who lost their things in house fires, teaching budgeting classes, and participating as guest reader through Read Across America events. Most of these efforts were due to my position as a Bank Officer with PNC Bank.
My focus moved to Upper Darby when Weed and Seed was introduced to the area. Drawing from my banking experience, I saw a need to present financial literacy to residents and business owners.
I'm a stay at home mother to two wonderful children. When I'm not involved with their Girl Scout troop and Cub Scout pack, I am studying for my degree. I continue to work with The Prevention, Treatment, and Intervention group to provide a variety of programs for the community. I love raising my family in this town and look forward to helping other see Upper Darby as the great town it really is!

My goal is to 'Make Upper Darby Home Again!'
To do this, I will work on the following:
- Impress upon both homeowners and renters the importance of pride in our neighborhood. With the assistance of the Weed and Seed Revitalization Program, I will work with the various neighborhoods to maintain clean streets.
- Work closely with Superintendent Michael Chitwood to adopt a policy of increased dialogue between the police and the residents. By having understanding on both sides, we can begin to foster safer streets and willingness of the residents to speak up.
- Assist in the creation of a Business Association along the Long Lane corridor. This will create a resource to allow networking, which will facilitate the growth of business. This in turn allows businesses to work together and lead to revival of 'The Lane.'
