Barbarann graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1984 and from Harvard University four years later with a degree in Government. At Harvard, Barbarann played on the basketball team, winning two Ivy League titles and was named to the All-Ivy League team four times. In 2008, Barbarann received Bank of America’s Local Hero Excellence Initiative Award for organizing the grassroots single-stream recycling movement in our Township; money from the grant awarded has gone towards buying trees planted in various parks and in parochial, private and district schools in our Township.
She is a Board Member of the Darby Creek Valley Association and has been the Volunteer Coordinator for its annual Watershed Wide Clean-Up since 2010 as well as a clean-up captain. Barbarann coaches girls’ basketball for St. Bernadette’s CYO program and is a member of UD Neighborhood Watch.
